. 24 Major Reasons why the Vancouver Real Estate Market will remain strong for years.

Vancouver is land-locked Simply put, you can't build west (water), south (The USA), north (mountains, water pressure not strong enough), or east (agricultural reserved land). Therefore, our land supply is running out putting further pressure on prices.

Increased Migration According to Statistics Canada net migration from other provinces [to BC] reached 2,600 people. Credit Union Central of B.C. forecasts that net inter-provincial migration to B.C. will increase this year and a net increase of 7,300 is expected in 2005.

1051 Scantlings, Vancouver BC

November 17th, 2006
I just finished uploading this Townhouse, 1051 Scantlings, Vancouver BC

SPACE! If you need room to grow this is it. Three bedroom plus office plus den in the heart of False Creek. Close to schools parks and the sea wall. Lovely out door patio faces green space. Very large living room with attached den and walk out to deck. This townhome is on one level so no wasted space. Has formal dining area with attached office with windows on three sides and skylight. It would be hard to find a three bedroom office den unit any where at this price. Great for growing family as this is a very child friendly location with the school a short five minute walk away.

False Creek Real Estate update

November 10th, 2006
Since October 1, 2006, there have only been five sales in the False Creek area of Vancouver's West Side. Two of these sales were prepaid land leases, three were freehold properties.

Recently, prepaid lease rates have increased, creating a current slow down in the False Creek Real Estate Market.
